About Wardé
Education
I have a Masters Degree in Trauma Informed Care from the University of Nottingham. My area of focus was Sexual Exploitation and Abuse while my thesis was on
Trauma Among Women in Prostitution in Legal And Illegal Contexts.
I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut.
Earlier, I obtained my French Baccalaureate after years of studies at the Lycée Alphonse de Lamartine.
Professional
I am a consultant with various UN agencies and international and national NGO. My work is mainly focused on sexual exploitation and abuse but also includes other social and psychological topics.
In my work, I review policies and assessment tools, create awareness materials, and deliver trainings.
On the side, I am also host of تابو a podcast in Arabic discussing social and psychological topics.
Personal
I was born in Zgharta, North Lebanon.
I have 2 brothers.
I enjoy driving and listening to music.
